On June 26, 1977, Elvis Presley took the stage at the Market Square Arena in Indianapolis for what would become his final live performance.
No one in attendance realized they were witnessing the King’s last concert. Just weeks later, on August 16, the world would lose one of the most influential performers in music history.
He closed the evening with “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” ending an era that forever changed rock and roll.
