One More Game Before We Get Back To Broadcasting… Probably.

Somewhere between classic radio, retro gaming, coffee-fueled late nights, and the glow of an old computer monitor sits one of the greatest time-killers ever created…
Solitaire.
Today, WTSG Digital Broadcasting and CLASSICKONG are celebrating National Solitaire Day — a tribute to the legendary card game that has distracted office workers, entertained late-night gamers, and quietly consumed “just five more minutes” for decades.
Let’s be honest…
We’ve ALL been there.
You sit down for one quick game…
Then suddenly:
- your coffee is cold,
- the radio has played three songs,
- and you’re somehow emotionally invested in moving the Queen of Hearts onto the King of Clubs.
Classic.
🖥️ The King of Retro Computer Gaming
Long before battle royales, massive downloads, and online matchmaking, there was Solitaire.
For many of us, it was:
- the very first computer game we ever played,
- the perfect break during a long workday,
- or the late-night “wind down” game while great music played in the background.
At WTSG-DB, we love everything retro:
- old-school radio,
- vintage gaming,
- classic Americana,
- and the timeless feeling of turning on a computer just to relax and enjoy the moment.
National Solitaire Day fits that spirit perfectly.
🎙️ CLASSICKONG Has Entered “Broadcast Delay” Mode
Reports coming in from the WTSG-DB studio indicate that CLASSICKONG has temporarily paused broadcasting duties in order to “focus intensely” on a very serious game of Solitaire.
Eyewitnesses say:
- he’s smiling,
- the coffee is flowing,
- and the KONG CREW is cheering him on from the arcade.
There are also unconfirmed reports that he may have said:
“One more game before I get back to broadcasting… probably.”
We believe him.
Mostly.
